The Iserlohn Young Roosters are the youth department of the ice hockey club Iserlohner EC.

The Young Roosters expressly support the holistic development of young players. The concept of "individual training" and the simultaneous "compatibility of school and sport" represents a very good basis for developing players. Through our close cooperation with the schools in Iserlohn, we are able to combine education and sport. The concept of the Young Roosters Academy also enables players from other locations and federal states in Sauerland to realize their dreams.

Even the little ones don't miss out with the Young Roosters. The daily kindergarten and school sports in the Balver Zinn Arena on the Seilersee as well as the Young Roosters ice skating school enable the children to get their first impressions and contact points with ice sports under the supervision of trained trainers. Each season around 1000 children from the kindergartens and 1st school classes in the area take part in school sports, of which around 200 children go through our ice skating school.

With trained trainers and diverse partnerships, the Young Roosters form an excellent platform for the sustainable development of young talent.
