Österåker Mariners is a veteran hockey club based in Österåker 30 kilometers north of Stockholm. It consists of 100 members and we have three teams in the veteran leagues, +45 elite, +35 elite and +35 division 1.
The club was founded in 2021 when the "veterans" and Jurassic J49" broke free from the club Österåker Vikings (a club with junior and senior hockey teams).
Since then the club has been growing and establishing itself as one of the largest veteran hockey clubs in Sweden.
This year we have represented in the SDE Winter classic tournament in Stockholm in January and will attend the unofficial WC for veterans in Canada  in March and also the Mechelen Sharks hockey tournament in  May.
We also arrange  our own local tournament, the Meltdown in April.
