The roots of ice hockey in Stuttgart go back to 1926. Between the 1920s and now today's Stuttgarter EC took part in the game under different names.

Since 1997 today’s Stuttgarter Eishockey-Club e.V. stands for commitment in youth work. There has been continuous and successful youth work in Stuttgart ice hockey. With its team in Regionalliga Süd, the Stuttgart Rebels, which has already made a lot of friends with enthusiastic performances, the Stuttgarter Eishockey-Club e.V. creates perspectives for a sporting future for its own ice hockey talents as well as those from the region.
